In photos: A rainy day in Linz

“Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet.”  - Roger Miller It rained from the morning til night during my first day in Linz. Armed with a flimsy umbrella and a determination to see as much as I could because I only had two days to give the city, I surprised myself by seeing more of Linz than I thought possible not just in one day but in one very rainy day. I still had time to spend the afternoon at NEXTCOMIC Festival and then dry out eating Austrian tapas in a restaurant called Josef that evening. If it's not clear from these photos, Linz definitely made it into a growing list of Places I Loved Despite Really Bad Weather. It may have even jumped into the top ten.
