In photos: A sunny day in Brighton
It was a sunny day in Brighton. My friend Betty had come to stay. She is sweet, kind and considerate; always ready to listen, always eager to help, always keen to live life to its fullest. I have a lot of love for Betty.
It was a sunny day in Brighton. So we went out and explored...
We walked along the seafront, took some photos on the pier, got lost in the Lanes, stopped for coffee, walked down Kensington Gardens, ate lunch at the uber-popular vegetarian restaurant Iydea, wandered back via the flea market on North Laine, walked past the Royal Pavilion , saw some crazy street artists doing crazy things, strolled through Kemp Town, bumped into Betty's cousin, stopped in Kemp Town Trading Post to see what vintage goods were inside and picked up cake for NewMan from Metro Deco , where I swooned over this animal print sofa.
That night we ate yummy tapas from La Bodega and watched the Lady Boys of Bangkok entertain us. Betty and I may then have ended up in a seafront nightclub where I proceeded to give myself whiplash by dancing too vigorously. It was a wonderful weekend.
And do not fear, a rainy day in Brighton is a lovely day too...
