Wednesday's Words: Let's fly away...

The words are from arguably the most instantly recognisable "Let's get out of here!" song. Put them together and it's a small slice of visual inspiration for anyone thinking about spreading their wings. In my previous life, the one before travel, whenever things got a little tough or I had a bad day I would look to the sky and think about flying away from it all. I would mentally list the number of places I would rather be and sometimes I would even do something about that by looking up flights or emailing a friend to see if they fancied a weekend away.

Of course, things are different nowadays. Now we are travelling long-term albeit slowly and the wanderlust is kept at bay but I do still have bad days and I still look up to the sky for inspiration and to let my imagination wander. The difference now is that the days are fewer and further between and I actually need the inspiration in order to pick our next destination..
