Searching for the sunset in Koh Yao Noi
According to The Village People we're supposed to Go West, because life is peaceful there, in the open air.
I've always liked going west, or rather looking west, because that is where you can find and sometimes watch the sun set on another day.
Of course, sunsets and travelling are inexplicably linked - it's something to do with being afforded the time and picture perfect views to enjoy them - and yet you don't always need to be looking west to be impressed by the sun's daily finale.
I found this out while staying on a south east bay on Koh Yao Noi, a small and relatively sleepy island in the Thai Andaman Sea. And here's the photographic proof...
