In photos: A weekend in Croatia

NewMan surprised me with a weekend away to Croatia last month. I say "surprised" because I tasked him with buying train tickets and seeking out a B&B in Yorkshire. Instead I was instructed to find my passport and make sure I'd washed my bikini after Alicante.

We stayed in a small medieval fishing town called Novigrad. We called it our toy town, because when you looked down over the village from a height it looked strangely not real. But it was a very real and very lovely weekend break and I share the details with you grudgingly because I want to go back and want it to be as quiet and un-touristy as it was. I've not fallen for a country in such a big way in a long time. I want to see more...
