MusicMonday:Glory Box by Portishead
Some albums I just can't shake. It may be years in between listens but when I return to them it's always a special experience. Because I had one such reunion with Portishead's Dummy album last week I had to make one of the songs off the album today's #MusicMonday. It frightens me that this album is 18 years old. That's a lifetime.
I also think the sombre strings and imploring vocals could sum up how a lot of us England fans are feeling after our team was knocked out of Euro 2012 last night, albeit perhaps deservedly so. I can't help but get so caught up in our national football team's efforts. Funny how only a short while I wrote about how I thought I wasn't feeling very patriotic about my home country that I choose to not live it. Such is life and travel and all their twists and turns...Another week full of colour, bikes and food on Instagram. I'm bushbirdie on Instagram, let's be friends?
I've also created some new boards recently on Pinterest so if you have any interest in bikes, great American road trips and scuba diving or snorkelling have a butchers (cockney for look, my dear friends of the world) at my Pinterest boards.
