A photo from... an urban farm in Warnsveld
We watched these two with their long ears go to their mother to suckle a while. Then they returned to their spot in the sun and as naturally as the wind or the rain they sat down and folded into one another. We stopped at not one but two small community farms in the middle of a residential area in Warnsveld, Gelderland. We fed grass to black sheep, I called three beautiful deer Bambi and we laughed at the chickens with the feathered legs. This small town is where one of our neighbours grew up and as we cycled around the town and the neighbouring countryside and woods, I realised why some people prefer the country to the city. Am I one of them? I'm really not sure anymore... Which do you prefer?
