A photo from... Palace Theatre, London

Stage Doors have always captured my imagination. I dreamed of growing up to be an actress when I was younger. Now and again, I still do, if that's not too embarrassing to admit.

Yesterday I left a successful work meeting and walked through Soho, one of my favourite parts of London for all the right and wrong reasons; the noise, the nightlife, the no-holds barred approach to life. I walked down Greek Street and turned left heading for Shaftesbury Avenue. Stage doors are not an uncommon sight in this part of London as you are teetering on the edge of the most famous theatre area in the United Kingdom but barely two steps after passing this one I stopped and retraced my tracks.
I stood back to read the words written above and I smiled. I don't doubt for a second how true they are.
