Inspiration: On strong hearts and palm trees...

Philip Sidney was an Elizabethan poet and soldier. He travelled extensively through Europe, a continent and collection of countries that looked quite different then to how it does now.

I have no idea where he saw palm trees or how he conjured up this comparison but as soon as I read it, I loved it.
