As the title suggests this is the book for anyone obsessed with travel or anyone about to embark on a journey to foreign climes be it backpacking or a new adventure in a new country. The stories are very short, a little sweet but come with plenty of twists and turns - as do most journeys! London Eyes: Short Stories

This collection of fiction set in and inspired by London is of course essential reading for someone who lives in and loves London. However, you don't have to know the city well to relate to these stories of cultures clashing, people learning from each other, and yes, a few unlikely love stories too. I think this is a more "mature" collection than Shy Feet as it tackles some more thorny issues such as racism, addiction, sex, and even the afterlife! Nine Women: Short Stories

These stories are about women - of all ages and backgrounds - but the book is not exclusively a read for just women. In fact, I think men would learn a lot from reading these stories about the challenges women face and how they approach them. This is arguably the book I'm most proud of as the stories are all very different, from a coming of age story about young sisters, to a little bit of historical fiction based on a true story.
