You'll love this book if you love London.

You'll love this book if you've ever sat on a London night bus and spent the whole journey trying to avoid eye contact with your fellow passengers.

You'll love this book if you've ever become trapped in a conversation with a London cabby.

You'll love this book if you've ever played the hazardous game that is dating in London.

You'll love this book if you've ever experienced that wonderful, dizzy feeling of "belonging" in London... even if it only lasted a few days.

You'll love this book if you've never been to London. In fact, consider this your very own (and very honest) personal tour.

Remember you can read one of the stories, Night Bus, for free here.

At the back of the book, you can read a more detailed explanation why this collection of twelve short stories - totalling over 93,000 words (more than twice as long as Shy Feet) - is very much a love letter to a city that kept me company through some of my toughest and happiest times in my twenties.

Although the stories are all fictional, there are many themes that relate to the years I spent living in London during that time  - dating, working too many hours, and feeling a little lost at times - and London Eyes also touches on key events that have defined London in recent years like the 2007 bombings and the unrest felt during the 2011 riots. While this may be my love letter to a city I maintain is among the world's best, it should become clear that my love is not blind, but it is a love that comes straight from my heart. You can read more about this in an Author's Note also included at the back of the book.

Also if you read and enjoyed Shy Feet, you may recognise two familiar characters. Do let me know if you like what they're getting up to. In fact, please let me know your thoughts on the whole book. There is little I enjoy more than one-on-one conversations with readers.

My special thanks to my beta-reading team who helped offer feedback and crucial advice to help guide the stories to being better versions of themselves. Speical mention should go to Nathalie, Clare, Elle and Keren. Thank you ladies!

The paperback is on it's way soon. To find out when it will be available first, please sign up to my newsletter.
