A photo from... Helsinki's Design District
In the Design District of Helsinki - so-called and encouraged thanks to the city being named World Design Capital in 2012 - there are minimalist independent art studios and galleries, furniture designers, antique stores, shops selling vintage clothes and vinyl and many other outlets for celebrating good design.
And then there is also Sabrina, a shop where ladies of a certain age can buy their undergarments of a certain size.
The typography, the colours, the design; this was my highlight of Helsinki's Design District.

Londoner turned wanderer, Frankie is an author, freelance writer and blogger. Currently based in Amsterdam, Frankie was nomadic for two years before starting a family with her Australian partner.
