A very important message for my readers...

I'll try to keep this post short. Sometimes there's no need for over the top words, just this.

THANK YOU!

To everyone who has bought my book. THANK YOU ... And if you've been one of the ones kind enough to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads, well, do you know how much I wish I could give you a high five right now?!

So, what's the reason for all this gushing? Yesterday, I received my first royalty payments for Shy Feet: Short Stories Inspired by Travel. They didn't total a huge amount of money. Certainly not enough to give up the day job - or even take a few days off - but they were enough to make me realise that something's happening, though I'm not yet sure what that is. I can only describe it as being mid-way through a wonderful journey and someone has just popped up to tell me I can keep going, keep pursuing it... as long as I keep doing what I'm doing, as long as I keep writing.

So THANK YOU. Your support, messages, reviews and emails and from what I can tell, enjoyment of this book mean a great deal to me.

And if you don't yet have a copy, you can get the ebook for the reduced price of £2.80,  € 3.30 or $4.49 (or click this link). You will receive it immediately by email in three formats - epub, mobi and pdf. (PS I don't keep a record of  your email addresses!) If you want help getting it onto your smartphone or ebook reader, follow these instructions.

You can buy the paperback on Amazon or Createspace - Amazon are currently running a sale on the paperback in both the US Amazon and UK Amazon store.

The ebook is also available at Kobo, Google Play and on Smashwords.

And if you want to know more about the stories and what kind of experience you can expect from reading Shy Feet, here's a video of me talking about them with the truly lovely Jessie from Wandering Educators. I also did a quick interview on the brilliant arts-literary-culture magazine The Omnivore in which I explain how travel helped me write Shy Feet - in more ways than one - and how there is some fact behind the fiction...

P.S. Sign up to my newsletter if you'd like to be part of a special give-away I'm going to run next week. I will be giving away three paperback versions to three readers, signed and delivered with a postcard and love from Amsterdam!
