In photos: Australia Day in Melbourne

A year ago today I blogged about Australia Day on my old blog Bird in the Bush. I referred to its importance because my boyfriend, NewMan is Australian and because a large contingent of Aussies live in Shepherd's Bush. What I didn't realise was that I'd be in Australia for Australia Day the following year. And what a happy, positive day it has been.I really do hope it's not my last Australia Day in Australia.

I spent the day exploring Melbourne and watching Aussie families and groups of friends celebrating their day. Here are more of the photos I took.
