No place like London

I would like to apologise to any of my Instagram and Tumblr followers whose feed was polluted with my incessant photographs of very touristy sites in London yesterday.

I had plans to meet and dine with friends just off Regent Street so I decided to walk there from my work office, which is near Bank. The sun shone brightly through the occasional cloud and despite a shockingly powerful wind I soaked up as much of London's sights and colours as I could.

All too often I walk around this City I love with my face down and my eyes half closed. They may not always be beautiful, but there are always things to see in London and last night on my short walk along the Thames and up past Trafalgar Square I enjoyed being a tourist.

With a help from the so-popular-it-has-obliterated-any-street-cred-I-may-have-had iPhone app Instagram here are the photoraphs I took.
