MusicMonday: A Playlist from MS Dockville

I'm spending today in Hamburg before flying home to Amsterdam tonight. I've spent the weekend at MS Dockville and despite being unwell, being on my own and being caught in more rain showers than I'd like, it's been a fantastic weekend. I can now say with confidence that going to a festival on your own can be a fun experience. I'll share my thoughts why with you soon.

I stayed at the Meininger Hotel in the Altona area of Hamburg and I'm really happy I did as it introduced me to a new type of accommodation that I think will become very popular. Part-hotel, part-hostel, Meininger pride themselves at being "the urban traveller's home" and I'm not going to argue with that... they certainly suited me well and I definitely think I'm something of an urban traveller.

But back to the festival... I saw some great bands and heard some fantastic music, songs I knew before and songs that were completely new. Here are my favourites.

Hope you had a lovely weekend.... and here's wishing you a rocking week.
