52 Books in 2014: April's Books

This is a photo of me finishing the final edits for  Night Bus . It may explain why there was a much slower reading pace for April though I did manage a quick sprint at the end to ensure I at least averaged one book a week. It was also interesting to reflect that I stuck to contemporary fiction novels in April. My sub-conscious may be doing this to reassure me into going back and nurturing the first draft of a novel I began last year... or perhaps I just wanted to get lost in other people's made-up stories.

Hover over the circles to read snippets from my reviews. You can find the full reviews by clicking on the books on this page over on Goodreads . My recommendation for this month is definitely The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake... (oh and The Rosie Project.) The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake  by Aimee Bender
The Rosie Project  by Graeme Simsion
The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult
The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer

Read my book reviews from January , February and March .
