Dreaming in Black & White: Brighton

It's hard to capture the warmth, shine and shimmer of a loyally-loved British seaside city in black and white photos.

And let me tell you Brighton has plenty of warmth, shine and shimmer especially when the sun shines. In fact, when the sun shines I would also throw a bit of glitter and sparkle into the equation.

However, black and white does go some way to show off the architecture, atmosphere and elegance of Brighton. I've certainly enjoyed taking these photos and seeing how they capture the little details of Brighton and Hove many of which are often overlooked, because of all that sparkle.

I suppose you could say that a city doesn't have to sparkle to be special. I hope these photos go some way to confirming that.

I promise to be back and turn the lights and colour on Brighton again soon.
